The lgbtqia+ is lesbian, gay,bisexual,transgender,queer,intersexed, pansexual, genderqueer,agender.
You can also be an ally for this community which means you confront heterosexism, homophobia, biphobia, transphobia, heterosexual and gender straight privilege in themselves and others, you also have a concern for the well-being of lesbian, gay, bisexual, trans, and intersex, etc.

Lesbian: a woman who is sexually or romantically attracted to other women.
Bisexual: Attraction to 2 or more genders!
Pansexual: sexual, romantic, or emotional attraction towards people regardless of their sex or gender identity.
Transgender: their identity is different from the gender they were thought to be at the birth.
Gay: Attraction to the same gender (usually used for men but can be used for women)
Queer: is a word that describes sexual and gender identities other than straight and cisgender.
Genderqueer: is most commonly used to describe a person who feels that his/her gender identity does not fit into the socially constructed "norms" associated with his/her biological sex.
Asexual: is someone who experiences little to no sexual attraction.
Agender: are those who identify as having no gender or being without a gender identity.
Nonbinary: is someone who does not identify as female or male!
Genderfluid: are people whose gender changes over time.
I would like to state that it is important to respect pronouns!! It is a basic way to show that you respect them!
Let's talk numbers
Some facts:
Half of LGBT people (52 percent) said they’ve experienced depression in the last year.
Nearly two-thirds of bi women (72 percent) and just over half of bi men (56 percent) have experienced anxiety in the last year.
One in eight LGBT people (13 percent) has experienced some form of unequal treatment from healthcare staff because they’re LGBT.
Almost one in four LGBT people (23 percent) have witnessed discriminatory or negative remarks against LGBT people by healthcare staff.
One in twenty LGBT people (five percent) has been pressured to access services to question or change their sexual orientation when accessing healthcare services. While one in five trans people (20 percent) have been pressured to access services to suppress their gender identity.
One in seven LGBT people (14 percent) has avoided treatment for fear of discrimination because they’re LGBT.
Only half of the lesbian, gay, and bi people (46 percent) and trans people (47 percent) feel able to be open about their sexual orientation or gender identity to everyone in their family.
Three in ten bi men (30 percent) and almost one in ten bi women (8 percent) say they cannot be open about their sexual orientation with any of their friends, compared to two percent of gay men and one percent of lesbians.
Almost one in five LGBT people (18 percent) have experienced homelessness at some point in their lives.
