1. Dune
An adaptation of the 1965 Frank Herbert novel, Dune takes place in the far, far future, at a time when the known galaxy is ruled by a feudal system of great houses, all of which respond to an emperor. Technically, the movie’s onscreen title is Dune: Part One. With 14 books telling an epic story spanning hundreds of characters across millennia, the Dune novel series is a daunting property to engage with.
Dune has the potential to be either a colossal disaster, or just the thing to fill the void left by The Mandalorian and Game of Thrones. Guess you’ll just have to watch it to find out!

2. Death on the Nile
Based on Agatha Christie's most daring travel mystery, It follows a cruise along the Nile, whose tranquillity is shattered by the discovery that Linnet Ridgeway has been shot through the head. She was young, stylish and beautiful, a girl who had everything – until she lost her life. Luckily, although not for the culprit, the brilliant Belgian detective Hercule Poriot is also a passenger.

3. Fatherhood
The film – based on the real-life story of Matthew Logelin [Book: Two Kisses for Maddy: A Memoir of Loss & Love] – Fatherhood follows Matthew Logelin whose wife passed away shortly after the birth of their daughter. Logelin is faced with not just grief but also new parent challenges he must work through as a single father. The movie retains the emotional backbone of the book, making it a favourite for many. While most thought the lead could have been better (played by Kevin Hart), the chemistry between the father-daughter duo makes it worthwhile.

4. The woman in the window
The Woman in the Window is a 2021 American psychological thriller film directed from a screenplay by Tracy Letts, based on the 2018 novel of the same name by pseudonymous author A. J. Finn.
Anna Fox lives alone, a recluse in her New York City home, unable to venture outside. She spends her day drinking wine (maybe too much) and spying on her neighbors.
Then a perfect family. But when Anna, gazing out her window one night, sees something she shouldn’t, her world begins to crumble and its shocking secrets are laid bare.
What is real? What is imagined? Who is in danger? Who is in control? In this diabolically gripping thriller, no one—and nothing—is what it seems.

5. To all the boys trilogy
Based on the books by Jenny Han. Lara Jean suffers the embarrassing ordeal of having her old love letters sent to crushes. One of the receivers hatches a plan to be in a fake relationship with Lara Jean to make his ex jealous. During the series, Lara Jean navigates the foibles and insecurities of first love and is seen gaining confidence in herself and her relationship by the end.
6. The Dig
The year is 1939 and Edith Pretty, a landowner in Suffolk, hires Brown to excavate the burial mounds in her estate. With the war coming, the Ipswich museum, that regularly employs Brown, wants him to help with the digging of a Roman villa, which they deem more important than Edith’s excavation. Brown is convinced the mounds have remains of high importance. The lead role is played by Ralph Fiennes (Yes, the Dark Lord himself), and is an apt adaptation of the book by John Preston, with excellent reviews.
